Since the beginning of Girls on Tops, Sofia Coppola has been a guiding light for us: from her existential yearning in Lost in Translation and Virgin Suicides to the subversive period pieces like Marie Antoinette and The Beguiled, Coppola always grounds her characters, often young women, in the real world. 

There is great care for interior lives and public-facing femininity: never more than in Priscilla, in which Coppola turns her lens on Priscilla Presley, another young woman trapped by her desires and desperate for love. The film feels like the culmination of her work, a wistful yet piercing look at fame and romance, all tied up in Coppola’s perfectly pink bow.

We’re thrilled to team up with MUBI for a special edition SOFIA COPPOLA t-shirt inspired by the title treatment and colour palette of Priscilla, making this our third t-shirt dedicated to the filmmaker so far. With a pink hue plucked precisely from Coppola’s own recently released Mack book ARCHIVE, delve deeper into the peerless filmmaker’s work in yet another new look.
